Barcelona Aquarium
It is one of the most visited places in the city. The more than 11,000 fish and sea creatures of 450 different species have made it one of the most important aquariums in the world. Plaza de Catalunya is a central square in Barcelona and, with 30,000 square meters, the third largest square in Spain. It constitutes the point of union between the old nucleus of the city and the expansion. Important streets of the city such as the Rambla, Passeig de Gràcia, the Rambla de Catalunya or the University and Sant Pere roundabouts, and Pelayo Street, as well as Portal del Ángel Avenue, the great commercial artery of the city, and old gate of the walls.
