Location
The oldest part of the port is open to the heart of Barcelona, so access is very easy with public transport. Line 3 of the Barcelona metro, at the «Drassanes» stop, directly accesses the ferry terminal area, and bus lines 59, 14, 91, 57, 157 also allow access to the port. La Rambla at its end towards the sea communicates with the city port at Portal de la Pau, where the Columbus Monument is located. It also has a bus shuttle service for cruise ships, and direct access to the coastal ring road (B-10) for access by car.
An attractive way to contemplate the port as a whole and from above is the Barcelona Air Shuttle, which crosses it through the air from the San Sebastián Tower in La Barceloneta, passing through the Jaime I Tower next to the World Trade Center, connecting the port with the Montjuic mountain.
